Oh no, I did it again! I went out for some thrift store decor. Honestly I love it so much (maybe too much) but I see the potential in mostly everything. This post is about thrift store decor shopping + a mini vintage home decor haul.
How Do I Find Thrift Store Decor Gems?
How do I find decor gems? - I get this asked all the time. To be honest, finding good thrift store decor is a combination of things. It can be location, time of the week, frequency, and/or pure luck! To increase the probability of finding good thrift store decor I take myself to the thrift store 3-5 times per month, for real.
Moreover, visiting the thrift store a few times per month can increase the probability of finding something good in my experience. It doesn't need to take long. A quick 10-20 minute run will suffice. It's amazing how quickly we can start to scan and identify the 'good' thrift store decor.
Approaching The Hunt With A Different Mindset?
Likewise, I must say it also depends on location. Some areas tend to have nicer things. Those are the ones to frequent most. Going in with a mindset of not expecting to find something can often have a good result (or maybe. it's just my thinking). I'm sure there is at least one good item waiting for us. Maybe it is perfect and ready to go or maybe it needs a little love and reimagining. Take a peek below at the mini haul of the thrift store decor I found.
Scroll down to the bottom and let me know your favorite thrift store decor item from the haul. I'm loving those vintage colored glass coupes! Also, take a look at the 9 vintage home decor finds I found online because why not?!
