To add to the list of self-care activities, are facials. Of course we all know the benefits avocado on our skin by now, but have you heard about spirulina? Spirulina is a superfood that everyone should start talking about. It is a strong antioxidant, rich with vitamin C + E, calcium, iron and more! This can improve skin metabolism, reduce inflammation, hydrate, clear, and improve aging skin.
I am in my mid 20s and it’s time to take serious care of my skin. Upon lots of researching/configuring different masks, this combination has been working great for me. I have oily and and acne-prone skin and make a quick batch every week. All you need is spirulina powder, avocado, banana, lemon, rosemary, and coconut oil (it tastes good too). Scroll down to Step 4 for the mask recipe.
Use this mask a few times per week. Take your skin to the next level and do a full facial every 3-4 weeks.
