PROJECT SUPPLIES USED:

1. cement (or this one)
2. fine sand
3. cement bonding adhesive (found here or here)
4. water
5. yoga ball or any inflatable ball
6. sealer, recommend (I like this one)
7. personal protective equipment

ARE THEY STILL HOLDING UP?

The short answer is yes!

While I didn't demonstrate the sealer application in the video, it's important to note that it can increase the orb's lifespan. I created the one below over a year ago and it has been sitting outside in the harsh climate (freezing winters, hot summers). There has been no cracking to this date. Also since I did apply sealer, I am thinking about staining it to achieve a different look. 

Are they are sturdy? Yes! The more layers the better. Ideally you want 3-4 for a larger orb.

How much do they weight? This large one might be about 50 lbs. You likely need two people to move it safely.
