Autumn is here and one of the things on my list was to swap out the window treatments. I do not go heavy with fall decorating but a simple switch like this can change the ambience of a room. These velvet-style curtains add a bit of color without ADDING color. Of course, my trick to hang curtains is hang as high as possible and extend 12 inches from the side window edge. This gives the illusion that the windows are larger.
PLEATED CURTAIN TRICK:
If you watched my YouTube video, I shared a neat tip to make a curtain look pleated. Essentially, I use some curtain ring clips to 'clamp a pleat'.
This curtain has the back taps sewn in hang, but I use those as spacing guides for where to clip them together.
