Guess what?! I found this dresser on the side of the road (my good neighbor was getting rid of it) and I picked it up. It was in good condition and was begging for a makeover. Check out my YouTube video below and see how I transformed the dresser!

My Top Recommendations For Painting Furniture:
- Tape or remove exposed hardware. Wash and repolish old hardware.
- Sand your furniture thoroughly. I like to use an orbital sander to make my life easier. Regarding sandpaper grit: I start with 80 grit and work my way up to 320.
- Fill in any damaged areas with some wood filler, let dry and sand.
- Use primer for a durable quality and avoid the wood oils to stain your paint.
- Paint using a foam roller or even a sprayer and apply 2-3 coats. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next.
- Apply 2-3 coats of finish.
