The other day I was at the craft store (Michael's) and came upon these unfinished wood paddles in the wood section. They were only $7.99! I immediately thought of finishing them and giving them as gifts. Buy a few of these, some butcher block oil (to make it food safe) and give them as gifts. You can pair with a cookbook, some serveware, or maybe some cheese knives.
