This morning I made a quick stop at the thrift store while running errands (I tend to do that a lot ). Seriously, just one store, 20 minutes max, and found some gems! I do not go in looking for anything in particular because I know won't find it. Sometimes it's best to let things come to you.
Today I'm sharing what I found + similar dupes in case you want the look!
These days I'm being very selective with what I bring home. It needs to meet 3 of the following:
- be a true vintage item
- have some degree of uniqueness
- be a statement piece
- offer timelessness
- have a mid-century aesthetic

5 beautiful things I found at the thrift store:
The maker of this vase is not known but I DO know this vase is an eye stopper! It's solid wood, gives mid century vibes, and I honestly don't mind the orange tone it has developed. Look at that wood grain!
VINTAGE WOOD VASES (TAP TO SHOP):
I am a complete sucker for ambered glassware, especially if it's vintage. This set of 8 tumblers was hard to pass on. These are great for curating a dinner party or for the everyday use. Do you like colored glass?
VINTAGE AMBER GLASSWARE (TAP TO SHOP):
I feel like this one had a lid. Maybe a vintage decanter? Let's call it a vase for now. I surely appreciate the color and even the modern profile - perfect for holding Baby's Breath flowers!
I cannot tell you how excited I was when I spotted this. Tortoise glass is having a moment right now. This little vase is perfect for my pedestal. Seasonal changes like this are exciting because design should be fun!
TORTOISE GLASS DECOR (TAP TO SHOP):
Can we have too many candlesticks? A modern wood candlestick is hard to come by so this one went straight into the cart. Candle holders are ideal for adding some drama to any vignette. I'm always reconfiguring, exercising creativity, and having fun with these!

Thanks, Carolina! That wooden vase feels nice and I’m also loving orange undertones. I think it pairs well with black and white!

Love the wood vases. The larger vessel w/o a lid reminds me of olive jugs. Love those shapes. I’m really loving your concrete DIYs. You have excellent taste.
